We decided to introduce the concept to meet the demand for an authentic Mexican “Dine Out” experience in downtown Vancouver. Without further adieu (we know you’re hungry) here is everything you need to know about the exciting culinary affair.
What You Need to Know About Salsa & Agave’s “Dine Out With Us” Vancouver Experience
When – Now Until February 4/2018
No need to wait! Assuming you’ve come across this article anytime before February 4 (Super Bowl LII day, coincidentally) you can enjoy the Dine Out experience today, and every day, from 4 PM to close.
Where – Our Yaletown Restaurant
We’re bringing the dining event to you in the place you already know and love. And if you’re not already a part of our family of regular patrons, you can find us just off of the corner of Davie Street and Pacific BLVD in the heart of Yaletown, Downtown Vancouver. What (is on the Menu) – Four Courses
- First course – We start you off right, with your choice of libation – an ice cold bottle of beer (or glass of Alexander Keith’s) or one of our city-wide famous margaritas. Our bottled beer selection is fantastic, with this trifecta (here) being among the most popular of our cervezas. - Second course – Our celebrated Guacamole headlines the second course of the authentic Mexican Dine Out experience. Our restaurant is know for its creative use of the avocado (view all) and it doesn’t get much better than our Guacamole to kick off the food portion of this affair.
- Third course – This is the main event, and we’re giving you some pretty amazing choices. You can order our Enchiladas (found here), which some in either chicken, beef, cheese or a vegetarian option, topped with melted cheese, fresh homemade sour cream, and served with rice and beans (and your choice of green tomatillo or red Mexican sauce). The second option, is our Carne Asada (here), which is a classic (and filling!) dish of grilled beef sirloin and served with chilaquiles (diced tortillas topped with house sour cream, cheese, onions, beans and rice). The third option is our unique Alambre (here), another Mexican classic that blends grilled beef, or chicken, with minced peppers, onions, bacon, ham and a side of Morita sauce, lime and 8 small corn tortillas.
- Fourth course – This is the literal and proverbial icing on the cake of our Dine Out event in Vancouver. We’re known for our desserts as much as we are for our tequila, and we’re delivering the two local favorites for this event. You can order either the Tres Leches (Three Milks Cake) which is a traditional Mexican cake made from a base of evaporated milk, Nestle La Lechera sweetened condensed milk, and a heavy sweet cream, delivering very light, bubbly cake with an unmistakable flavor that cannot be paralleled with any other desert in the Greater Vancouver area. in town. Your other option, is our Churros, another fan (and well known) favorite that needs no interaction.
We know what you may be thinking – how on earth will you choose which option to order, from each of the four courses found on our Dine Out menu? No need to fret! For just $24 you can try a new combination through each day of the week until this special event concludes on February 4.
